FAQs:
Regents Dental Group knows that the types of insurance and the varieties of payment methods we take can be confusing. Here are some frequently asked questions and their answers.
Which insurance companies do you accept?
We are proud to take 13! They are Delta Dental, MetLife, Cigna, United Concordia, United Healthcare, Principal, Anthem, Blue Shield of California, Guardian, GEHA, Humana, Aetna and Veterans Administration. And if you don’t see your plan, please call our office.
Do you take credit cards?
Yes! MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover.
What does PPO insurance mean?
PPO is short for Preferred Provider Organization. It lets patients choose any dentist they want, either inside or outside of their network.
How do traditional indemnity insurance plans work?
Traditional health care insurance plans reimburse a patient (the enrollee or a covered dependent or spouse) according to the provider's bill based on usual, customary and reasonable fees (technically referred to as UCRs). The patient then files a claim to be reimbursed for the fees paid.
